The contemporary institute of economical research (IRÉC) is offering

Any doctoral and master's thesis or the equivalent that has been presented as a requirement for a Quebec university degree between January 1st 1995 and December 31st 1999 is eligible.
The winning papers will be on subjects of interest of the IRÉC in the following areas: general economy, social economy, political economy or all other related areas (for example, management, sociology, political sciences and land use management).
The papers on the effects on globalization, economical development, balance between the private and public sector, local and national decision centers and workforce economical conditions will get special attention. These subjects can be studied from an economical approach (micro or macro), from a multidisciplinary approach or from an approach specific to any other area. To be eligible, all registrations must be done using the electronic form provided by the Institute.
The papers must be submitted electronically (disk or Internet) in Microsoft Word format (version 6.0 or higher) or Word Perfect (version 7.0 or higher). The documents received will be converted into Adobe Acrobat format (PDF) and published on this site. All the authors of the papers presented for this contest will have to surrender complete publication and dissemination rights to the IRÉC in all possible forms. The copyrights or other restrictions imposed by the universities will have to be waved.
